My GTR Specification

Over the coming months I will attempt to keep this page updated as to the specification of my GTR as it is built.

As a starter for ten it is my intention to go for a full factory specced car i.e. all parts will be purchased from Ultima. After numerous conversations with Ted and Richard this seemed to be the most logical choice, as if you ask yourself; who knows the most about building an Ultima? Exactly...

I am intending on building the highest spec Ultima I can (excluding engine, more about that later). So the options purchased so far are:

Chassis with full RAC spec roll cage
Twin fuel tanks (40 litre capacity)
320mm AP Racing discs & 4 pot callipers
Handbrake callipers for the above
Top quality Intrax shockers with race quality road springs
Alloy double skin kit
Gas strut kit for rear canopy
Remove flash lines
Sealed side luggage containers
Luggage container covers in carbon fibre
Side window helicopter vents
Braided stainless steel clutch pipe and fittings
Accelerator cable kit with fixing brackets
Silicon water hose kit
Battery cables

NO Air Conditioning
Oil Cooler
Accusump Kit
Body Colour RED (pic)
Provisional Engine 6.3 ltr 460 bhp / 500 lbf (American Speed)

Passenger Foot-Rest
Hand-held Fire Extinguisher (Red, sits between the seats)
Stack Dash
Ultima Alcontara Seats with Lumbar support (with Ultima logo in yellow)

Outlined in the table below are the switches etc that I am intending to use for the dash of my Ultima GTR. Some additional switches are still on order, I will post further pics and update this table as and when I can, an y queries just Email me a line and I will try to help....

Have added some further details to the list below. Just to give you some idea all push button switches are made from aluminium and are light when pressed (i.e. the emblem in the centre of the switch will illuminate). All light green except for the hazard which illuminates red and the main beam blue (they look much better than the piccies show). The indicator flashes green when used (and is On/Off/On), the fuel change over switch is also On/Off/On and this is made of aluminium with 2 engraved grooves in the head. With all the switches being aluminium this should go well with all the aluminium inside the cockpit.
